Description
Fluorofenidone is a NADPH-oxidase inhibitor. Fluorofenidone Inhibits UUO/IRI-Induced Renal Fibrosis by Reducing Mitochondrial Damage. Fluorofenidone protects liver against inflammation and fibrosis by blocking the activation of NF-κB pathway. Fluorofenidone attenuates paraquat‑induced pulmonary fibrosis by regulating the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway and autophagy. Fluorofenidone inhibits apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells in rats with renal interstitial fibrosis.
