To foster scientific education and research among young scholars, Alfa Chemistry proudly announces the launch of the 2024 Scholarship Program that will award $1,000 to an outstanding college student. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to bright and committed students who are passionate about advancing in the realms of biochemistry, chemistry, and material science.

Selection Criterias
Each candidate will be reviewed fairly and carefully by the evaluation panel in compliance with the following criteria:
- Academic/research record and plan
- Leadership
- Social responsibility such as participation in volunteer activities, community services
The overall aim is to identify students who exhibit a strong potential for contributing to scientific advancement.
Eligibility
To receive the Alfa Chemistry Scholarship Program, students must be:
- a full-time undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. student at an accredited college or university.
- majoring in a chemistry-related field such as biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering and material science.
- demonstrating academic excellence in chemistry with a cumulative average grade of a B (3.0 GPA).
This eligibility criterion ensures that the scholarship reaches students who are genuinely committed to furthering their academic and research endeavors in these scientific disciplines.
All applicants must submit the following items:
An online application form.
At least one recommendation letter, either from a teacher, school counselor, or community leader.
- A copy of the current official transcript.
- A well-written essay of 600-800 words or a PowerPoint of 8-10 pages with detailed lecture notes, which should be totally original and grammatically correct. You must select one topic from the list below:

Terms and Conditions
- One applicant can submit the application form once only.
- The scholarship recipient will be determined by our selection committee.
- The recipient will be notified by email and announced online on November 15, 2024.
- The recipient will be asked to submit a video recording of a scholarship acceptance speech and its manuscript.
- By submitting the application materials and video recording, you are giving us permission to publish the works on our website and through any of our existing social media outlets, and you also agree to receive information from Alfa Chemistry.
- Alfa Chemistry will not share any personal information of applicants, and all information will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Employees of Alfa Chemistry and their family members are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
